Do you love the flavor combo of tart and sweet? In this refreshing Raspberry Lime Smoothie, you’ll find an exciting mix of flavors that makes it unique from other recipes… and majorly addicting! While this smoothie may remind you of those tempting fruity, sour gummies you enjoyed as a kid, there’s no added sugar or artificial ingredients in this recipe; Instead, it’s sweetened naturally with raspberries and plant-based Stevia!
All you need to make this shake is 310 Vanilla or Strawberry, frozen raspberries, fresh lime juice, lime zest, chia seeds, plain Greek yogurt, and water! Blend them all together and you get a refreshing treat that tastes like a delicious sorbet!
Whether you’re looking for an energizing mid-day snack, healthy dessert, or nourishing post-workout drink, this Raspberry Lime Smoothie is the perfect summer shake to enjoy on any occasion, (and it’s great for the whole family)! Packed with 21g of protein and 9g of healthy fats you can pack in daily nutrients with every sip, while enjoying a candy-like shake!
Before diving into the full recipe, let’s take a look at some of the potential health-boosting benefits that this shake has to offer!
Nutrition & Flavor: 310 Vanilla or Strawberry
If you find yourself cooking less during hot summer months and therefore consuming less protein, I’m right there with you! I tend to choose lighter meals when the heat hits, which can sometimes make it more challenging to pack in the protein. But, adding a scoop of 310 Shake to smoothies makes it easy to increase protein intake and get a major boost of nutrients as well!
In this Raspberry Lime Smoothie Recipe, I use a scoop of 310 Vanilla or 310 Strawberry to create the perfect base for this mouthwatering shake! Try 310 Strawberry for a fruitier, berry flavor or 310 Vanilla for a smooth, vanilla bean taste, to complement the tartness of raspberries in this smoothie.
If you’re indecisive like me, feel free to use half a scoop of strawberry and half a scoop of vanilla… the choice is yours! Regardless of which flavor you choose, this recipe will surely excite your taste buds, while nourishing your body.
Naturally-Sweet Treat: Raspberries
Next, to get the ultimate combination of naturally tart and sweet, I added frozen raspberries! This delicious berry not only adds great flavor to any smoothie, but the seeds also bring a nice texture as well.
While raspberries may be small in size, they pack a punch in terms of great nutrition. They’re an awesome source of fiber and also contain vitamin C, antioxidants, and polyphenols, to optimal health and wellness.
Addicting Tangy Taste: Lime
The final ingredient to highlight is of course, fresh lime juice! As you may know, I always recommend fresh lime for smoothie recipes because you can really taste the difference in every sip! We’re also going to be using some lime zest in this recipe to really kick things up a bit, and mimic the taste of sour candy.
Limes, just like raspberries, are also a source of vitamin C, so you get a double dose in this recipe! With about 19mg of vitamin C per lime, you can support the healthiest, most radiant skin, and feel your best from the inside out!
