Let’s listen to celebrity fitness trainer Flo as he explains the best way to go about using the 310 Gym Yoga Ball:  

Now that we best know how to use the Yoga Ball, here are some exercises you can do in your home, at a gym, at a park, at a beach, or wherever your heart desires:

1. Yoga Ball Leg Lift

Get the toned inner and outer thighs plus butt you’ve been dreaming about showing off in your bathing suit this summer, plus completely defined abs with this simple move.

First, lay down and hold the Yoga Ball snuggly between your ankles.

Then, pressing into both sides of the ball with your legs, tighten your core and lift your legs while holding the ball straight up into the air. Hold there for 5-10 seconds, then slowly move your legs back down to the starting position. Repeat 10 times, doing 3 sets.

2. Yoga Ball Plank Lift

Strengthen and tone both your upper and lower body with this one exercise that you will feel in your arms, legs, and core.

Start in a plank position with both of your feet on top of the Yoga Ball and your hands on the ground directly beneath your shoulders.

Hold the plank position for 30 seconds then roll the Yoga Ball forward with your toes, bringing your hips to the sky. Hold that position for 5-10 seconds and then roll the Yoga Ball back to the starting position and repeat for 5 reps. Try to do 3 sets.

3. Yoga Ball Bicycle

Take the regular bicycle ab-workout up a notch with the Yoga Ball, and tone, tighten and firm your abs and obliques.

Start by laying back onto the Yoga Ball with your arms folded behind your head, your left foot on the ground, and your right foot bent slightly in the air.

Tightening your core for support, reach your right knee to your left elbow, then bring your right leg to the ground and reach your left knee to your right elbow, then keep repeating. Be careful to follow the balance instructions as described in the video by Flo earlier in this blog to ensure you don’t lose your grip and fall off the Yoga Ball.
