Introducing the fat that could help you get thin.
Are we pulling your chain? Well, the key to the incredible results you can get with MCT oil is all in the length of the chains. You see, MCT stands for Medium Chain Trigliceride. Without getting too sciencey, let’s break it down.
MCTs are a particular type of beneficial fat that require minimal action from your liver to convert directly into fuel in the form of ketones. Heard of those? Ketones are one of the brain’s two primary fuel sources, and also a vital source of energy for your body.
Coconut Oil has many different types of fatty acids and MCTs. But since Coconut Oil has way less MCTs, you’d have to eat a LOT of it to get the benefits of pure MCT oil. And that’s a LOT of calories. But MCT oil, made from the medium chain triglycerides in Coconut oil, converts to ketones to help fuel your mind and body. Unlike long or short chain tryglycerides, MCTs bypass the metabolic processing in the liver and quickly convert into energy right away—instead of being stored as fat like the slow-burning longer-chain fats like olive oil, butter, beef fat, palm oil, and coconut oil.
Stay full with carb-free energy.
Think of MCTs as a clean source of fuel for the body and brain as they help give your body the energy it needs without the stuff it doesn't – like sugar and processed ingredients. MCTs can also help regulate your metabolism, energy, and mood levels. As part of a healthy diet, MCT oil can even help you feel full for longer periods of time—nice perk, right?
Does your brain need a boost?
MCT Oil can help boost your cognitive function as well as support brain health. How? Your brain is largely made up of fatty acids, so you need a steady supply from your diet to feel your best, think clearly, perform well at work and stay sharp well into old age.
Move over Coconut Oil
Coconut oil got its good rep because it contains MCTs—but only in relatively small quantities. And not all MCTs are created equal. The problem is you can’t get enough of the really useful MCTs from just eating coconut oil. And, many “MCT oils” are diluted with Lauric Acid, a useful, but cheap, and abundant part of coconut oil that can raise cholesterol. If you’re counting on plain coconut oil or just any “MCT-labeled” oil to get enough useful MCTs, think again and check the label. You would have to consume massive amounts of coconut oil (equating to many more calories) just to get the level of beneficial potent shorter chain MCTs (C8 Caprylic Acid and C10 Capric Acid) MCTs in each tablespoon of 310 MCT oil. These are the MCTs that are easily converted to ketones and fuel your brain and ability to use fat as fuel.
Quality you can trust
As you now know, many companies use blends of oils combining coconut oil with cheaper palm kernel oil or lauric acid diluting the quality of MCTs. But our MCT oil is purely from coconut oil, extracted with proven quality control and without solvents. It’s free of fillers, additives, and flavoring with a neutral smell and taste. It’s suitable for Kosher, Halal, Vegetarian, Vegan, Lactose-free, and Gluten-free diets.
Our bottles are BPA free. Most MCTs on the market are manufactured via chemical/solvent refining, which can require using chemicals like hexane and different enzymes and combustion chemicals, such as sodium methoxide. We don’t use harsh chemicals for our extraction process. Our MCT Oil is hexane-free, using only Certified USDA Organic and Non-GMO Project Verified coconuts with complete traceability throughout the process.
