Chocolate PB Protein Bars

How to Make Chocolate PB Protein Bars

Need a deliciously indulgent snack that will satisfy your taste buds while providing you with the full nutrition of a nourishing, superfood-packed meal? Then you’ve come to right place. These Chocolate PB Protein Bars taste like a decadent treat, but contain well-balanced macronutrients to keep you full, satisfied, and energized throughout your day.

The bars get their rich, chocolaty taste from 310 Chocolate Bliss Shake, mixed with indulgent melted peanut butter (or PB Powder for less calories), oats, honey, and more.

While protein bars you buy at the store typically contain lots of added sugar, additives, and other unhealthy ingredients, these are a healthy and easy alternative. You can make these bars in less than 10 minutes and have a wholesome snack for on-the-go and the entire family to enjoy!

Read on to learn how to make these super-simple, chocolaty and nutty bars…

Ingredients:

Makes 6 servings

1 scoop 310 Chocolate

1 cup peanut butter (melted)

1/4 cup honey

3/4 cup rolled oats

1.5 tbsp dark chocolate chips or chunks

2 tbsp pecan pieces

Directions:

Line a loaf pan with parchment paper. Add all of the ingredients except the dark chocolate chips or chunks into your food processor, and process until everything is combined.

Once the mixture is holding together, transfer into the loaf pan. Fold the parchment over the top and press the mixture evenly into the pan. Once even, add chocolate chips or chunks and press those into the top of the mixture as well. Place the mixture in the refrigerator to harden (for 30 mins to 1 hour), before removing from the pan and cutting into bars.

You can then store the bars in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Enjoy cold or at room temperature.

Recipe Variations

I love these chocolaty-nutty bars exactly as they are but you may prefer a different flavor and want to switch things up. Here are some suggestions for ways that you can make this recipe your own or change it up when cravings strike …

  • Use a different flavor 310 Shake (like S’mores, Vanilla Crème, or Mocha)
  • Use a different type of nut, like walnuts, almonds, or cashews
  • Add in fresh berries for a fruity twist
  • Use PB powder instead of peanut butter for low calorie, peanut-buttery flavor
