Hot Shake: Warm Pumpkin Chai Smoothie Recipe

Although this recipe is simple, it still has all the components that I look for in a satisfying snack. It’s loaded with healthy fats and fiber from almond butter and pumpkin puree, for not only a punch of flavor, but immune-boosting vitamins and minerals as well. With 19g of plant-based proteins and 12g of nourishing fats, you can indulge in a sweet treat while supporting and maintaining your wellness goals!

What You Need to Make this Hot Shake

The ingredients that I use in this recipe are 310 Organic Pumpkin Spice, pumpkin puree, almond butter, brewed chai tea, unsweetened almond milk, cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg. If you don’t have all the spices, allspice and pumpkin spice work just as great!

310 Organic Pumpkin Spice

Most beverages you purchase at stores or coffee shops are full of added sugars and artificial flavorings, and they can be easily overlooked. However, sugary drinks can often deter you from your health and wellness goals.

With 310 Organic Pumpkin Spice, you can still enjoy your favorite autumn drinks in a nutritious way without sacrificing flavor! 310 Organic Pumpkin Spice (and all 310 Shakes) are naturally-sweetened with monk fruit and Stevia, and have zero artificial ingredients. You can use the shake in a variety of ways whether it be in smoothies, shakes (hot or cold), oatmeal, or even protein bars!

I use 310 Shakes pretty much daily and here’s a few reasons why!

  • Crafted with quality vegan and organic ingredients
  • 15g of plant-based proteins from a blend of pumpkin, brown rice, and pea
  • Vegan, keto, and paleo-friendly
  • Free from sugar, nuts, soy, gluten, and dairy

Ways to “Shake Up” this Recipe

As always, you can omit or swap out any ingredients to cater to your own personal taste preferences! I typically work with the ingredients I have readily available, so I’ve tried several variations of this recipe. Below are a few alternative methods you can check out!

  • Leave out pumpkin puree for a thinner consistency
  • Cashew butter instead of almond
  • Coconut, cashew, or oat milk in place of almond milk
  • Add 310 Collagen for 11g of additional protein

How to Make this Hot Shake

It’s finally time to put this recipe all together! First, boil a cup of water and steep a bag of chai tea for approximately five minutes. While your tea is steeping, heat up your almond milk in the microwave.

Once you have your tea and warmed almond milk, combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend until everything is completely smooth, which takes about 30 seconds. Serve your warm smoothie in a mug or thermos and sip away!

Ingredients:

  • 1 scoop 310 Organic Pumpkin Spice
  • 1/3 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 cup chai tea, brewed
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk, warmed

  • 1/4 tsp cloves

Directions:
