Believe it or not, I actually wasn't the biggest fan of the popular chocolate and mint combo when I was a kid. However, this flavor combination has grown on me over the last couple of years and I’ve slowly started to add mint into some of my chocolate shakes - and I've been loving it!

This Keto Mint Chip Shake - which is full of healthy fats from 310 MCT oil and coconut milk - offers the perfect balance of rich cocoa flavor and refreshing mint. Plus, it great for supporting energy and even mental focus! 

If you’re following a low-carb or keto plan, you know it can be difficult to satisfy your sweet tooth while staying aligned with proper dietary guidelines, but this yummy shake can help you do both! Even if you’re not following keto, this recipe is a great one to try if you’re running low on fruits and want a minty, chocolaty treat!

What You Need to Make this Refreshing Shake

This delicious shake includes just six simple ingredients to create! All you need is 310 Organic Chocolate, frozen canned coconut milk ice cubes, fresh mint, cacao nibs, 310 MCT Oil, and unsweetened coconut milk. I always opt for fresh mint because it is quite subtle in flavor and possesses a natural sweetness that I absolutely love!

You may be wondering how a minty, chocolate shake can be low-carb and keto-friendly, but 310 Organic Chocolate is the solution. This cocoa-rich meal replacement powder adds an irresistible chocolaty flavor and gives your drink a thick and creamy texture. Just because a recipe is keto-friendly doesn’t mean you can’t add your own personal twist! There are still a few ways you can customize this shake while keeping it low-carb... Just check out some of these other ingredients you can try incorporating!

  • Coconut meat instead of frozen coconut milk
  • Peppermint extract instead of (or in addition to) fresh mint
  • Frozen riced cauliflower for more thickness
  • Unsweetened almond milk instead of coconut milk

How to Prepare this Shake

The night prior to making your shake, pour your canned coconut milk into an ice cube tray. Go ahead and pour the whole can so you have the cubes readily available for your next recipe! Once your coconut milk ice cubes have completely solidified, add them and the rest of your ingredients into the blender and blend until everything is smooth and creamy, which takes under a minute. Pour your delicious creation into a glass and garnish with a mint leaf!



  • 1 scoop 310 Organic Chocolate
  • 1/4 cup canned coconut milk (frozen into ice cubes)
  • 1 tbsp mint, chopped
  • 1 tbsp cacao nibs
  • 1 tbsp 310 MCT Oil
  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk


  1. Combine ingredients in a blender and blend until completely smooth.
  2. Serve and enjoy!
