Excite your taste buds with this sweet and sour Green Apple Smoothie! It's yummy, satisfying and full of whole foods for a nourishing breakfast, lunch or dessert.
Green Apple Smoothie Recipe
Enjoy the sweet and tart flavors of sour candy in a healthy and nutritious way with this Green Apple Smoothie! I loved sour gummies growing up (and still enjoy them occasionally), and would always pick out the green apple flavor because it was my favorite. This drink is full of that green apple flavor and made with whole food ingredients - with zero added sugars and artificial additives - to fuel your body and excite your taste buds! Not to mention, it’s a great way to use up any apples that you may have so they don’t go to waste!
For the ultimate “sweet and sour” taste, I used green apple and a squeeze of lemon juice. This way, you’re also giving your body and immunity a boost with vitamin C, fiber, and powerful antioxidants. I also added a scoop of 310 Shake to balance this drink with quality plant-based proteins to promote satiety, making it the perfect quick breakfast, snack, or healthy dessert! Without further ado, let’s get to making this recipe!
What You Need to Make this SmoothieThe ingredients you need to blend up this smoothie are 310 Organic Unflavored, unsweetened coconut water, frozen green apple slices, frozen cauliflower rice, lemon juice, hemp seeds, and ice. I recommend using fresh lemon juice to really bump up the tartness of this drink!
310 Organic Unflavored
Adding a scoop of 310 Organic Unflavored is my favorite way to keep a smoothie’s fresh flavors while providing an abundance of nutrition. Formulated with coconut creamer, it also gives your smoothie a creamy texture that can be hard to achieve when you’re blending large amounts of frozen fruit. With no sweetener added, this shake has extreme versatility and can be used in a variety of dishes such as oatmeal, granola bars, chia seed puddings, or baked goods, with complete control over the sweetness levels.
If that isn’t impressive enough, here are some additional 310 Shake qualities that especially standout!
- 15g of plant-based proteins from a blend of pumpkin, brown rice, and pea
- 5g of dietary fiber per serving
- Vegan, keto, and paleo-friendly
- Contains powerful organic superfoods including spinach, broccoli, kale, turmeric, spirulina, and more
Ways to “Shake Up” this Smoothie
If you don’t have all the ingredients needed, I have some recommendations that also pair well with this recipe! Check them out below…

- Frozen banana instead of cauliflower rice for added sweetness
- Lime juice instead of lemon
- Add spinach to sneak in greens
