Orange Creamsicle Shake Recipe

A classic flavor pair that absolutely screams summer, while totally tantalizing your taste buds is the whimsical combo of orange and vanilla… And who doesn’t want to daydream about all the amazing things of summer right now? Let this protein smoothie we’re about to share take you back to your childhood, and remind you of the carefree days of summer, while many of us spend much more time indoors…

This shake recipe is a take on a classic orange creamsicle… except a more nutritious version that even your kids can enjoy. As delicious as these popsicles usually are, they’re also typically full of sugar, artificial sweeteners, colorings, and unnecessary additives. If you’re looking for a healthier alternative that will transport you to a pool or sunny backyard setting, this Orange Creamsicle Shake recipe is the perfect thing! Why not bring summer home to the entire family, no matter what the weather is for you right now?

Made with 310 Vanilla Shake, banana, peaches, unsweetened almond milk, freshly-squeezed orange juice, and chia seeds, this protein-rich smoothie will satisfy your sugar cravings while providing your body with essential nutrients it needs, especially now. This creamy, citrus-y shake contains an impressive 19g of protein and 6g of healthy fats to sustain your energy levels and give you a major boost of energy!

Before we give you the full recipe, let’s dig into all the amazing ingredients that’s in this shake, and how they can help boost your immune system and keep you well right now…

Classic Vanilla Bean Taste: 310 Vanilla Shake

To mimic the sweet and creamy texture of an orange creamsicle, there’s a scoop of 310 Vanilla Shake in this recipe. This meal replacement shake protein powder adds natural sweetness, thickness, and subtle notes of vanilla bean to this recipe, without all the sugar and artificial flavorings. 310 Shakes are sweetened naturally with plant-based Stevia, so they can help support your total health and weight loss goals.

Not to mention, this yummy shake contains a special blend of plant-based proteins, vitamins and minerals, and a mix of organic superfood greens to support your overall health. The unique blend of pea, brown rice, and hemp proteins will not only help sustain feelings of fullness, but also aid in building and maintaining lean muscle mass, so that you can maximize all the hard work you’re putting into your at-home workouts! These powerful plant proteins are also higher in fiber than many other protein powders, which can help promote a healthy digestive system, and provide more satiety following your shake snack or meal.

For those of you who have a hard time reaching your daily veggie intake and obtaining all the proper micronutrients from your normal meals, this tasty vanilla shake can help you do so. Vitamins and minerals are added into every serving, along with vitamins A and E, calcium, and potassium. In addition, organic super-greens such as broccoli, kale, spinach, and spirulina are added to bring antioxidants and help fight against sickness and disease.

In addition, the next ingredient is a powerful immune-boosting food as well…

Sickness-Fighting Vitamin C: Freshly-Squeezed Orange Juice

Next, skip the orange juice from concentrate and get your much-needed vitamin C from a fresh orange! A little secret… the freshly-squeezed orange flavor takes this recipe to the next level! We promise it’s worth the extra time to juice the orange (which really only takes a few minutes)!

Many juices contain unnecessary added sugars and fructose, a type of sugar that in its processed form can be hard for the body to process, and in excess can be very bad for your health. So, by juicing your own orange, you know exactly what you’re putting into your body. Aside from giving this shake its iconic orange creamsicle flavor, as you know, oranges are also bursting with vitamin C! This nutrient plays a vital role in supporting your immune system, as well as keeping your skin and hair radiant and glowing.

Heart-Healthy Fiber: Chia Seeds

Finally, chia seeds are an amazing addition to any shake recipe, to give it more texture and body, plus they offer immense health benefits. Though they may be small in size, these mighty seeds are packed with healthy fats, such as omega-3 fatty acids that support brain and heart health.

They’re also an amazing source of fiber, which, as mentioned previously, is essential for great digestive health, and also increasing levels of satisfaction and fullness after eating. Plus, because chia seeds are a great plant-based source of protein, they give this recipe an extra boost!

Whether you’re seeking a quick meal for yourself or your entire family, an immune-boosting snack, pre- or post-workout fuel, or a healthy way to satisfy your sweet tooth, this Orange Creamsicle Shake Recipe checks all the boxes!
