Apple Cinnamon Shake Recipe

Cinnamon and apple are popular fall flavors, but you can enjoy this combo year-round with this Apple Cinnamon Shake, for a deliciously spiced drink that will make you feel extra cozy! I always have apples on hand to have as a snack or topping for oatmeal or smoothie bowls, but I’ve been recently loving them in my shakes. To prep your fruit for smoothies or shakes, just slice a few apples and place them in a freezer safe container to have them ready to blend at any time. I’m a big fan of this recipe because it’s made with ingredients you most likely already have, to save you a trip to the store!

This shake may be simple to make, but it’s complex in flavor and full of nutrition from whole foods. Although every sip resembles a bite of apple pie, it provides your body with the proper fuel it needs to help you feel good from the inside out!

What You Need to Make this Shake

You only need six ingredients to make this recipe: 310 Organic Vanilla, unsweetened almond milk, frozen apple slices, almond butter, cinnamon, and ice. I used a green apple for my shake, but you can use whatever apple you have available!

How to “Shake Up” this Recipe

As mentioned, this recipe is made with just a few simple ingredients, but by all means, add your favorite shake boosters to include more nutrition if you’d like! Here are a few alternative ingredients that also complement this recipe...

  • Coconut or cashew milk instead of almond
  • Cashew butter in place of almond butter
  • Add additional fall spices like nutmeg, clove, or ginger
  • Add 310 Peanut Butter Powder

How to Make this Shake

It’s time to put this shake together!

If you don’t have frozen apples readily available, first slice an apple and place it in the freezer the night prior to making your shake. Feel free to prep more to use for other recipes.

Once you have your frozen apple slices, combine all your ingredients into a blender and gradually blend on a medium-to-high setting for 30 to 40 seconds or until completely smooth. Finally, serve your finished drink into a glass or shaker cup and enjoy your yummy and nourishing spiced dessert!

Ingredients:

  • 1 scoop 310 Organic Vanilla
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 small green apple, sliced and frozen
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup ice

Directions:

  1. Combine ingredients in a blender and blend until completely smooth.
  2. Serve and enjoy!
