Chocolate Oatmeal Cookie Protein Shake

Get ready for a one-of-a-kind drink with this Chocolate Oatmeal Cookie Protein Shake! This idea came to me when I was planning to bake cookies one day, but decided to convert my favorite cookie recipe into a nutritious shake. You may notice this recipe shares similar ingredients with that of a cookie recipe, which is how I achieved the incredible flavors of this indulgent shake, but with a healthy twist!

This sweet treat has all the essential nutrients your body needs with plant-based proteins, healthy fats, and complex carbs, for a complete meal or satiating snack. The shake is also something you can serve as a dessert, and your dinner guests will never be able to tell that it’s made with whole, nutritious ingredients, unless you share your secret with them!

What You Need to Make this Shake

This recipe has a few more ingredients than my typical shake recipes, but it all comes together at the end for the perfect chocolate oatmeal cookie flavor. To make this shake, you will need 310 Organic Chocolate, rolled oats, frozen cauliflower rice, cacao nibs, vanilla extract, almond butter, unsweetened oat milk, and cinnamon. You already know I had to find some way to sneak in veggies with the  frozen cauliflower rice!

Unlike regular cookies, this delicious shake is packed with plant-based proteins from 310 Organic Chocolate. With a blend of pumpkin, brown rice, and pea proteins, just one scoop of this meal replacement shake contains 15g of protein to help keep you full!

Ways to “Shake Up” this Recipe

Before we get into how to make this shake, don’t panic if you don’t have all the ingredients listed! Check out some of these alternative ingredients you can use for a similar taste before making a grocery store run.

  • Omit cacao nibs for creamier texture
  • Add cacao powder for ultra-chocolate flavor
  • Almond milk or coconut milk instead of oat milk
  • Cashew butter instead of almond butter
  • Add a dash of nutmeg for extra “spiced cookie” flavor 

How to Make this Shake

To make this shake, just add all your ingredients into a blender and start blending on a low speed. Once everything is starting to mix, increase the speed to a higher setting and blend until all the ingredients are combined and completely smooth. Pour your finished shake into a glass and top it off with a dash of cinnamon or cacao powder... Then, all that’s left to do is sit back and enjoy your healthy dessert!

Ingredients:

  • 1 scoop 310 Organic Chocolate
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup frozen cauliflower rice
  • 1 tbsp cacao nibs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 cup unsweetened oat milk
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Combine ingredients in a blender and blend until completely smooth.
  2. Serve and enjoy!

  • 45g carbs
  • 34g net carbs
  • 11g fiber
  • 15g fat
  • 26g protein
