Hot Peanut Butter Banana Mocha Shake Recipe

Drinking a cold shake as the weather gets chillier can sometimes be hard... I’m on the same page as you! It doesn’t matter how high the heat is turned up, I’m always wrapped in a blanket when I drink my shakes, but they’re so tasty it’s always worth it. However, this Hot Peanut Butter Banana Mocha is going to keep you toasty and satiated.

Replace your morning coffee with this mocha or enjoy it in the afternoon as a yummy pick-me-up or snack for when you start feeling sluggish. I find myself reaching for coffee a lot more often with the gloomier weather, and this shake has definitely been a game-changer!

Unlike regular mochas that often use artificial syrups and powders for flavor, I simply use whole foods like peanut butter and 310 Organic Chocolate for phenomenal taste and nutrition - like omega-3 fatty acids and plant-based proteins. Making your own mocha is also much more economical than purchasing one, especially if you’re like me and have a dairy sensitivity and require a dairy alternative. What You Need to Make this Shake

You don’t need much to make this shake... Just grab 310 Organic Chocolate, brewed coffee, unsweetened almond milk, banana, peanut butter, and 310 Peanut Butter Powder (optional). I love this recipe because it uses ingredients I typically already have around and then I don’t need to make an extra grocery run! If you’re missing an ingredient, I’ll go over some alternative ingredients you can try later.

Forget about the chocolate syrups and overly-sweetened chocolate powders, we’re using 310 Organic Chocolate for an indulgent cocoa flavor. It has no added sugar and is made with top-quality ingredients for superior taste and nutrition. It’s easy for me to recommend this yummy shake to friends and family because it’s free from common allergens and suitable for those following vegan, keto, and paleo guidelines. Ways to “Shake Up” this Recipe

You already know it’s time to shake up this recipe! As mentioned previously, this shake is incredibly versatile and you can use whatever you have available to make it. Here are some of my favorite alternative ingredients…

  • Use oat, cashew, or coconut milk instead of almond
  • Almond or cashew butter instead of peanut butter
  • Add cacao powder and/or cacao nibs for stronger chocolate flavor
  • Use espresso instead of coffee (compensate with more almond milk, warmed)

How to Make this Shake

To  make this hot shake, first brew a cup of your favorite coffee. You can heat up the almond milk too, if you want your drink to be extra hot.

Next, just add all the ingredients into your blender and blend everything on a medium-to-high setting until combined. Finally, pour your hot shake into a mug and stay warm with your nourishing drink!
