Low-Carb Creamy Chocolate Shake Recipe

In our 310 Facebook Community, we've seen more and more people asking for shake recipes that aren't necessarily fully keto, but are just lower in carbs. With this in mind, another 310 Nutritionist and I went on a mission to come up with some tasty recipes - and let me tell you, we found the perfect ingredient to replace higher-carb fruits! 

This Creamy Chocolate Shake is one of the super-delicious recipes we came up with, and it honestly tastes just like a regular milkshake, but it’s completely low-carb and even vegan! Packed with healthy fats and plant-based proteins from avocado and 310 Organic Chocolate, this indulgent shake is not only tasty, but nutritious as well.  And, if you're following keto, I've even outlined some simple swaps below to increase the fat content even more!

Unlike your typical milkshake, this yummy shake is made with clean, whole food ingredients. You just need 310 Organic Chocolate, frozen riced cauliflower, avocado, unsweetened almond milk, cacao powder, vanilla extract, and ice. You may be wondering what riced cauliflower is doing in a dessert-like recipe, but this is our new secret ingredient that I was talking about! It’s a great way to sneak in some veggies while adding thickness and volume to the shake in a tasteless way, I promise!

310 Organic Chocolate

Achieving a yummy cocoa flavor is easy when you have 310 Organic Chocolate! Formulated with coconut creamer, Stevia, and monk fruit, 310 Organic Chocolate has a silky-smooth texture that is perfect for creating the classic diner shake taste. If you’re looking to add more flavor to this recipe, there are several ways to do so while still keeping it low-carb and keto-friendly! I love a good, classic chocolate shake, but below are some alternative ingredients you can try incorporating to add some variety. The possibilities are endless, so have fun and get creative!

  • Canned coconut milk ice cubes instead of cauliflower rice
  • Your choice of nut butter instead of avocado for more flavor
  • Add cacao nibs, hemp seeds, or nuts for a crunch
  • Increase the protein with 310 Collagen or 310 Peanut Butter Powder
  • To kick up the healthy fats: add nut butter, 310 MCT Oil, or unsweetened coconut cream

How To Make This Shake

To make this shake, just simply add all your ingredients into a blender and blend on a high setting until everything is smooth and combined, which takes under a minute. Once you reach a creamy consistency, pour your finished shake into a glass and enjoy your healthy, low-carb milkshake!


  • 1 scoop 310 Organic Chocolate
  • 1/2 cup frozen riced cauliflower
  • 1/4 avocado
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup ice


  1. Combine ingredients in a blender and blend until completely smooth.
  2. Serve and enjoy!
