Can’t get enough of our hot shakes? Don’t worry, we have another one coming your way! Skip the sugary lattes and try this yummy and nourishing Mocha Madness Shake instead. With colder temperatures, it’s been getting harder and harder for me to get out of bed and this is what I always make when I’m running behind schedule!

With just a few minutes of your time, you can combine your morning coffee and breakfast into one easy shake to save you time and money. For me, this energizing shake is a great way to ensure my day is off to a good start, and I think you will enjoy it too!

While most people drink coffee to uplift their mood, black coffee is also loaded with antioxidants and can benefit your health in many ways. Coffee by itself can be bitter, but rather than adding cream and sugar to mine, I use 310 Organic Chocolate for a chocolaty flavor and essential nutrients that you wouldn't get from a regular latte! What You Need to Make this Shake

Let’s get started on the recipe! To make this shake, you just need five simple ingredients: 310 Organic Chocolate, brewed coffee, unsweetened oat milk, cacao powder, and almond butter.

When you order a mocha at a coffee shop, it typically has either sweetened cocoa powder or chocolate syrup. For this recipe, we’re adding a scoop of 310 Organic Chocolate instead! With plant-based proteins and sweeteners, and zero sugar, this meal replacement shake offers phenomenal flavor using quality organic ingredients to keep you aligned with your wellness goals. Tip: If you’re more of an espresso drinker, feel free to use 1-2 shots of espresso and heat up more oat milk to create a latte. If you have a frother, I highly recommend frothing up your oat milk to create a yummy foamy consistency!

How to Make this Shake

It’s finally time to get started on this mocha! First, brew or warm a cup of your choice of coffee. If you want your drink to be extra-hot, you can heat up your oat milk as well.

Next, add all your ingredients into a blender and blend until everything is completely smooth, making sure there are no clumps remaining. Serve your hot shake in a mug or thermos and enjoy your caffeinated smoothie wherever you go!

Ingredients:

  • 1 scoop 310 Organic Chocolate
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, hot
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened oat milk
  • 1/2 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp almond butter

Directions:

  1. Brew coffee or warm a cup if needed.
  2. Combine ingredients in a blender and blend until completely smooth.
  3. Serve and enjoy!
