My whole life, my weight went up and down constantly because I was always trying the latest greatest diet that I’d never be able to stick with…

The Change…

When my best friend had a gastric bypass surgery and had to go on a strict diet, I wanted to show her support, so I decided to try something new as well so we could hold each other accountable.  When I saw the 310 ads on Facebook, I thought it was something I could finally stick with so I decided to give it a try.

I knew that my biggest struggle would be giving up bread. Like Oprah says in that Weight Watchers commercial, “I love bread!” But I knew I just had to keep my goal in mind to keep myself in check, and my best friend and I would keep each other accountable.

Success!

I don’t measure my success in weight. I don’t even own a scale or weigh myself. But one of my favorite non-scale victories would be when I went into an Old Navy store and picked up a size large dress to purchase for myself. At the checkout counter, I was chatting with the cashier about how cute the dress was and she said, “I hope this isn’t for you! This large is way too big... you should try a small!” And she was right!

I am so happy with myself. I have so much more confidence and energy!

Here’s how I got healthy with 310 Nutrition and keep it going to this day:

I have a 310 Shake for breakfast each day mixed with water, a frozen banana and usually a handful of another frozen fruit. It gives me the protein, fiber, and nutrients I need to stay full until lunch. Lunch is usually a grilled chicken salad, boiled eggs with turkey bacon or a turkey wrap. Dinner is usually a lean protein plus veggies. I’ll have grapes or strawberries for a snack if I’m hungry. The shakes are the only products I use but I love them and I’m sticking with them!
