Superfood Citrus Blast Recipe

Feeling under the weather is never pleasant, but there are some preventative measures you can take to protect your health! Getting proper rest, staying hydrated, exercising, and eating a balanced diet all play an integral role in maintaining and building a strong immune system. Easier said than done, I know! To make things a little easier, this refreshing Superfood Citrus Blast is a simple way to incorporate essential nutrition into your day to help boost your immunity.

In This Recipe

Featuring a variety of whole food ingredients, this recipe is balanced with the vital nutrients your body needs to function optimally. I even include a scoop of 310 Vitamin C Powder for an extra punch of vitamin C, B vitamins, zinc, and electrolytes. Whether you’re looking for a meal, snack, or dessert, this drink with 19g of protein and 13g of dietary fiber can do it all while supporting your weight loss goals and immunity!

What You Need to Make this Smoothie

To make this shake, I used 310 Organic Unflavored, 310 Vitamin C Powder, fresh squeezed orange juice, water, frozen cauliflower rice, frozen mango, frozen pineapple, maca powder, and chia seeds. I recommend fresh orange juice because it truly helps bring out the bright citrus notes in this recipe. You can squeeze your own orange juice or save time and use fresh-pressed orange juice from the store.

310 Organic Unflavored

This smoothie already has plenty of natural sweetness from all the fruit, so I skipped using a flavored protein powder and used 310 Organic Unflavored instead. I’ve made this recipe without 310 Shake in the past and noticed it didn’t keep me as full. The extra 15g of protein derived from pumpkin, brown rice, and pea makes a huge difference in satiety, which is why I love adding it to all my smoothies! It’s also vegan and keto-friendly to suit a variety of different lifestyles, making it easy to recommend to friends and family.

Wondering if 310 Organic Unflavored is right for you? See below for even more exceptional qualities of this meal replacement shake!

  • Free from sugar, soy, dairy, gluten, nuts, and GMOs
  • Use in coffee, oatmeal, healthy baked goods, and more
  • 5g of dietary fiber per serving
  • Contains organic superfoods including ginger, broccoli, turmeric, and beet

How to “Shake Up” this Recipe

Experiment with different fruits to find your favorite flavor combo! There are endless ways to make this smoothie and I usually just use the fruits that I have in my freezer at the moment. Take a look at some of these variations that are equally tasty….

  • Coconut water instead of regular water
  • Frozen banana in place of frozen cauliflower rice
  • Omit mango or pineapple and use frozen peaches
  • Hemp or flax seeds instead of chia
  • Add spinach to sneak in leafy greens
