The Turning Point...
Four years ago, I became extremely ill and wound up in the hospital. After a bunch of tests I was given a very scary diagnosis: I needed surgery to remove a large tumor that was probably cancerous. After a difficult 6 hour surgery where the tumor was removed from my organs, more tests eventually revealed there was no cancer. But I had a long, 6-month recovery ahead of me. During this time I could barely move, and a nurse came to my house twice a day to help me do the basic things needed to take care of myself. It was then that I gained the weight.
The doctor’s told me “just eat what you can” after my surgery. So I ate what I wanted, including lots of Snickers bars. Eventually, I recovered from the surgery, but I couldn’t get back in shape.
The Change...
Wanting to be healthy again, I decided to try meal replacement shakes, starting first with Shakeology, but I hated the taste. Then I tried Nutrisystem but it was very expensive considering the food portions were super small and tasted like cardboard! It was horrible.

I love all the shake flavors, but I’m especially a fan of the new Vanilla Chai. I like to add coconut milk, apple and banana to my shake and then warm it up – it’s great in the evenings! I also infuse my 310 Lemonades with fruit to switch it up sometimes.

By doing all this I am in disbelief that I have already lost 40 lbs in just 3 months! I feel like 310 Nutrition has given me my life back.
