Lemon Ginger Smoothie Recipe

Awaken your senses with this tangy and spicy Lemon Ginger Smoothie that’s made with fresh ginger and lemon juice to help support your digestion! I always make this smoothie after dining out or eating a heavy meal to help soothe my stomach and ease some of my bloating that can occur after having too much sodium in one sitting.

Whether you’re looking for a breakfast or quick meal, this smoothie is naturally energizing and will keep you satiated for hours. If you like taking wellness shots, you’re going to love the flavors of this smoothie, so don’t forget to save this recipe!

What You Need to Make this Smoothie

I know this recipe may look like it has a lot of ingredients, but don’t be intimidated because you probably already have most of the items if you make smoothies frequently! To make this smoothie, I use 310 Organic Unflavored, frozen mango, frozen pineapple, frozen riced cauliflower, fresh minced ginger, fresh lemon juice, unsweetened coconut milk, hemp seeds, and ice (optional). For that wellness shot zing, fresh lemon juice and minced ginger will make all the difference, I promise!

310 Organic Unflavored

The start to every single one of my smoothie is, of course, 310 Shake! To maintain the integrity of the fruity, tart, and spicy flavors in this smoothie, you guessed it, I chose 310 Organic Unflavored!

Although flavorless, 310 Organic Unflavored packs a punch when it comes to nutrition! It’s full of quality ingredients and plant-based proteins for a complete and balanced meal replacement shake. With no sugar or added sweetener, you’re in full control of how much flavor you add! This is also a great ingredient to add to oatmeal, baked goods, or smoothie bowls for a nutritious boost.

Ways to “Shake Up” this Smoothie

The best part about this recipe is how easily you can switch it up by swapping out or adding an ingredient or two! As mentioned previously, I know this recipe may look like it includes a lot of ingredients, but there is most likely something in your pantry that you can use to substitute. Just take a look at some of the alternative ingredients you can incorporate below!

  • Try lime instead of lemon!
  • Swap out mango and pineapple for peaches or melon
  • Chia or flax seeds instead of hemp
  • Water or coconut water in place of coconut milk
  • Add a dash of cayenne for spice
  • 310 Organic Vanilla instead of unflavored for creamier taste

How to Make this Smoothie

To put this smoothie together, the first step is to mince the ginger. Easily remove the skin off ginger by scraping it with the back of a spoon, and then either finely chop or grate your ginger until you have a tablespoon. For extra spice, add a little extra, if you so desire!

After you have your freshly-minced ginger, add it along with the rest of your ingredients into a blender and blend until everything is smooth and completely combined. If you want more of a “slushee” consistency, add half a cup of ice and blend again until everything is mixed.

Once everything is fully blended, serve your refreshing smoothie in a glass and enjoy your deliciously zesty drink!

Ingredients:

  • 1 scoop 310 Organic Unflavored
  • 1/4 cup frozen mango
  • 1/4 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1/2 cup frozen riced cauliflower
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds
  • Optional: 1/2 cup ice

Directions:

  1. Combine ingredients in a blender and blend until completely smooth.
  2. Serve and enjoy!

  • 21g protein
