Tropical Greens Smoothie Recipe

As someone who really enjoys vegetables, there are some days that even I struggle with getting enough greens into my daily diet! I typically prefer roasted veggies over salads, but it can be difficult to find the time to cook on busy days, which is where this Tropical Greens Smoothie comes in handy!

Full of vitamin C and antioxidants from kale and a mix of juicy fruits, this delicious smoothie is perfect for supporting healthy skin, immunity, and more! Plus, it's super-refreshing and makes you feel good from the inside out! Eating whole, nutritious foods has never been so easy with this green smoothie.

What You Need to Make This Green Smoothie

This Tropical Greens Smoothie takes under five minutes to make and is way quicker than buying a salad or roasting veggies! All you need to create this healthy treat is 310 Organic Unflavored, frozen banana, frozen pineapple, cucumber, kale, coconut water, and ice. I like using bushels of kale in this particular smoothie because you can easily remove the leafy greens from the stem, which can be fibrous and bitter.

310 Organic Unflavored

When it comes to my green smoothies, I like to keep it simple and stay true to the natural flavors of the ingredients, which is why I enjoy using a scoop of 310 Organic Unflavored in this recipe! It adds no additional flavor, but packs a punch in terms of nutritional value with a blend of plant-based proteins that help keep you full. With 310 Organic Unflavored, you can transform your favorite smoothie recipes into a more satiating drink without altering the flavor!

Here are some other reasons why 310 Organic Unflavored is an essential for any pantry!

  • Formulated with clean, vegan, and organic ingredients
  • Contains a blend of plant-based proteins including pumpkin, brown rice, and pea
  • Free from sugar, dairy, gluten, soy, and nuts
  • Comes in a variety of flavors including Chocolate, Vanilla, and Salted Caramel

Ways to “Shake Up” This Smoothie

If you don’t have all the ingredients to make this recipe, take a look in your fridge for these alternative ingredients before you make a trip to the store - or add whatever you like to make it your own! I’ve made this smoothie countless times and experiment with different fruits and veggies frequently, but below are some of my favorite ingredients that I’ve tried adding and highly recommend incorporating...

  • Mango or papaya instead of pineapple
  • Spinach instead of kale
  • Fresh ginger for a spicy kick
  • Lemon for a burst of citrus and freshness
  • Almond or coconut milk instead of coconut water for creamier taste

How to Make this Smoothie

As mentioned previously, the stem of kale can be a bit bitter, so the first thing you want to do is remove the leafy greens from the stem. Once you have your cup of kale, add all your ingredients into a blender and blend until everything is smooth and combined. Pour your smoothie into a glass or a shaker cup and get ready to glow from the inside out with this revitalizing drink!

  • 1 scoop 310 Organic Unflavored
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1/3 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1/4 cup cucumber
  • 1 cup kale
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 1/2 cup ice

  1. Combine ingredients in a blender and blend until completely smooth.
  2. Serve and enjoy!
