My favorite way to sneak more veggies into the day is with a smoothie because it’s quick, convenient, and effortless! This Green Vanilla Blast Smoothie is the best way to incorporate leafy greens into your diet, helping you increase your daily veggie intake... and it’s delicious! If you’re a bit skeptical about green smoothies, I assure you this drink tastes like a yummy, classic vanilla milkshake, so you can satisfy your sweet tooth while balancing and supporting your health.

Spinach is my “go-to” leafy green of choice because it’s mild in taste while packing a punch in terms of fiber and antioxidants. Plus, I always have some in my fridge! Combined with other ingredients like 310 Shake and cashew butter, you really can’t taste it at all. Full of whole foods, this smoothie is packed with the fuel your body needs, including 21g of plant-based proteins and 13g of nourishing fats to keep you full and satisfied.

What You Need to Make this Smoothie

First, let’s review the ingredients that you’ll need for this smoothie. I used 310 Organic Vanilla, unsweetened vanilla almond milk, frozen banana, frozen avocado chunks, spinach, cashew butter, spirulina, vanilla extract, and ice. You can typically find frozen avocado chunks in the freezer aisle next to the frozen fruit or freeze your own avocados, if desired.

To achieve that milkshake quality I previously mentioned, I used a scoop of 310 Organic Vanilla! This versatile meal replacement shake has notes of creamy vanilla bean that pairs well with both fruity and indulgent flavors. Loaded with nutrients, you can add 310 Organic Vanilla to oatmeal, coffee, or healthy baked goods for a simple and scrumptious way to support your health and weight loss goals. These recipes are just guidelines and are completely up to your interpretation, so be creative with the ingredients you have! I always use what I have currently have in my fridge or pantry and the following variations came out quite well…

  • Kale instead of spinach
  • Cashew or coconut milk instead of almond
  • Almond butter instead of cashew butter
  • Keto-friendly version: Use frozen cauliflower rice instead of banana
  • Add chia, hemp, or flax seeds

How to Make this Smoothie

Finally, let’s get to the best part: blending! Add all your ingredients into a blender and blend on a medium setting for 30 to 40 seconds until there are no clumps remaining. Once you reach a completely smooth consistency, just pour into a glass or shaker cup and enjoy your nutrient-dense and delicious smoothie!

    Ingredient:

    • 1 scoop 310 Organic Vanilla
    • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
    • 1/2 frozen banana
    • 1/4 cup frozen avocado chunks
    • 1 cup spinach
    • 1/2 tbsp cashew butter
    • 1 tsp spirulina
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract
    • 1/2 cup ice

    Directions:

    1. Combine ingredients in a blender and blend until completely smooth.
    2. Serve and enjoy!
