This naturally-sweet, juicy fruit is about to become a staple in your summer smoothie recipes – because when blended up, it tastes just like frozen yogurt! You have to try it to believe me!

For a vibrant pop of color, (plus some awesome health benefits), I also added some turmeric into this scrumptious shake. If you’ve never tried adding turmeric into your smoothies, this recipe is the perfect opportunity for you to experiment with this aromatic spice, while satisfying your sweet tooth!

Quick and easy to mix up, all you need to make this delicious recipe is 310 Vanilla, frozen mango, banana, turmeric, chia seeds, and unsweetened almond milk. Packed with 20g of protein and 7g of healthy fats per serving, you can fuel your body with nutritious, whole food ingredients in under five minutes.

Ready to make this exciting, tropical smoothie?! First, let’s go over some of the awesome potential health benefits that this delicious shake can offer you!

Rich, Indulgent Flavor: 310 Vanilla

The first ingredient I used in this recipe is one you probably recognize; I talk about it often since it’s a pantry staple in my house… 310 Vanilla Shake! The versatility of this protein powder is truly incredible, and it adds a “cake-like quality” to any smoothie, with its subtly-sweet, rich vanilla bean flavors.

310 Vanilla is sweetened with plant-based Stevia, and is free from common allergens including soy, dairy, nuts, and gluten – so you can rest assured this yummy meal replacement shake will align with your health and wellness goals, while suiting a variety of dietary needs.

Along with adding dessert-like flavor to your smoothies, 310 Vanilla Shake offers an impressive amount of nutrients! With 15g of plant-based protein and 5g of dietary fiber per scoop, you can add more sustenance to your smoothies to stay full and satiated. Plus, 310 Shakes also contain 20 essential vitamins and minerals, as well as a blend of superfood greens to help optimize health!

Fruity, Tropical Touch: Frozen Mango

The next ingredient in this smoothie is of course, frozen mango! Mangoes can be especially difficult to find when they’re not in season, so I like to buy frozen mango to ensure you can have this delicious fruit year-round for smoothies or even oatmeal, which is my personal favorite!

Mangoes are packed with vital nutrients and are a source of fiber, vitamins A and C, folate, and more. In fact, did you know that just one cup of mango provides you with 100% of your daily recommended vitamin C intake? This delicious fruit is perfect for a sweet treat, or for when you're feeling a little under the weather!

Powerful, Tasty Spice: Turmeric

Turmeric powder and roots

Last but not least, I added a touch of turmeric into this shake for it's anti-inflammatory properties, and of course it's beautiful yellow color! While turmeric is traditionally used in more savory dishes, I find it also works really well with fruity flavors like mango and pineapple.

Turmeric also contains anti-inflammatory compounds called curcuminoids that can potentially help reduce pain caused by inflammation. You have probably seen turmeric in the form of capsules, tablets, or teas, but simply adding it to your smoothies is a tasty and easy way to start incorporating this aromatic spice into your diet!

Bonus: If you want to reap even more benefits of this powerful antioxidant spice, try 310 Turmeric!
