Waking up feeling rested and refreshed is always the goal... but sometimes I need a little help to start the day. There are so many things that can disrupt the sleep cycle - which can lead to groggy and sluggish mornings that I’m sure you’re familiar with too! One of my favorite ways to begin the day is with an energizing breakfast and this Morning Chocolaty Coffee Shake combines my meal and coffee into one convenient drink! I can make it in just minutes and I pour it into a shaker cup to take with me wherever I go!

Although I only use five ingredients to make this shake, it’s still packed with essential nutrition for a balanced pick-me-up. There’s quality protein and healthy fats from 310 Shake, and plain Greek yogurt to fuel your body and help keep you full. If you typically like flavored lattes, this shake tastes like a mocha frappe but with none of the added sugars and artificial ingredients for a yummy and healthy way to enjoy your cup of coffee!

What You Need to Make this Shake

This shake couldn’t be easier to make! All you need is 310 Organic Chocolate, cold brew coffee, frozen banana, plain Greek yogurt, and ice. I like using cold brew for its convenience, but you can also brew your own coffee and chill it instead.

Black coffee is not palatable for everyone, which is why adding cream, sugar, and other additives is such a popular option. Although flavored lattes are enjoyable on occasion, using too much of these additional ingredients can easily turn your cup of joe into a high-calorie drink. For days when I want a sweetened cup of coffee, adding a scoop of 310 Organic Chocolate is my favorite way to create a rich and indulgent mocha!

This meal replacement shake is formulated with Stevia and monk fruit, so you can satisfy your sweet tooth while staying aligned with your health goals. It’s also a fantastic source of plant-based protein to help you easily increase your daily protein intake! I use 310 Shakes just about daily and here’s a few reasons why…

  • Add cacao powder or cacao nibs
  • Add almond or cashew butter
  • Handful of spinach for leafy greens
  • Try using Organic Vanilla instead of Organic Chocolate

How to Make this Shake

It’s time to put this recipe together! Add all your ingredients into a blender and blend for 30 to 40 seconds or until completely smooth. Once you reach a thick and creamy texture, serve your finished shake into a glass or shaker cup and enjoy your energizing and nutritious drink!


  • 1 scoop 310 Organic Chocolate
  • 1 cup cold brew coffee
  • 1 small frozen banana
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup ice
