For this reason, this scale should be your #1 choice, not only for weight loss, but also for successful weight maintenance and continuing to feel your best for the duration!
Convenient “Smart Scale” – Easily step onto this scale, which is made of durable, tempered glass, and features high precision sensors that carefully monitor your vital body statistics.
9 Essential Measurements – Along with your body weight, this scale also measures your unique body mass index (BMI), along with the percentage of fat, water, muscle, bone and protein in your body. It can also measure your BMR – or the amount of calories your body needs to function – helping you calculate an accurate calorie intake target for your goals. Finally, it measures your metabolic age – which is important because if the number is higher than your actual age, you need to take steps to speed up your metabolism for weight loss.
Large LCD Screen – The large LCD screen is easy to view and read results. The screen will first show your weight, BMI, and fat percentage. Then after 8 seconds, it will show the rest of your information.
Multi-User Friendly – You can also easily store information for up to 10 different users on this smart scale, making it easy to track progress for all parties not just day-to-day, but month-to-month and over long periods of time, to monitor your progress and see results.
Low Battery Indicator – The scale also features a low battery indicator so you’re alerted when the batteries need to be changed soon and can plan accordingly.
Automatic On/Off – Finally, the scale features an automatic on/off function so that it’s always ready for you to use when wanted, and will turn off when you’re done.
Input Your Personal Info
When you get your scale, the first thing you should do is input your personal metrics for yourself and anyone else using the scale. First, lean on the scale to turn it on. Then, in the upper left corner of the digital screen, use the far left arrow to select each person’s profile. For instance, if you are the first one to use it, then you will be “P0”… and the rest of the people using the scale will be “P1” thru “P9”.
Then, select the icon for male or female, and also indicate if you’re an athlete. You will see the symbols pop up at the top of the screen and can use the arrows to scroll. Push the middle square button to select your options. You will then be prompted to put in your current height and age, and then you’re all ready to step on the scale and get the rest of your metrics!
Step on the Scale to Get Your Weight
Place your scale on a hard flat surface on the ground so you can easily step up onto it. Take off your shoes and socks so that you’re barefoot for the best reading. Step onto the scale with both feet, so that the upper and lower soles of your feet are touching the silver circles. Stand upright until the numbers on the scale stop moving, to generate your weight.
Get The Rest of Your Metrics
Your weight will display first, and then after that it will disappear and show you the rest of your important body metrics including your BMI, body fat percentage, water percentage, and more. It will rotate between showing your weight and these other metrics three times before it turns off.
When to Use the Scale:
It’s best to use the scale in the morning after going to the bathroom, around the same time each day, for consistency. You should also wear as little clothing as possible. Since your weight will fluctuate throughout the day, and go up after you eat and drink, this timing will give the most accurate reading. Weighing yourself on the 310 Smart Body Weight Scale day-to-day is beneficial so you can see vital measurements such as the water percentage in your body (to see how hydrated you are), and protein percentage to see if you’re getting enough of this macronutrient. Other measurements, such as your weight and body fat percentage are great to monitor once a week, since they likely won’t change much from day-to-day, but over longer stretches.
Why should I weigh myself when trying to lose weight?
Weighing yourself daily is an important step that can’t be missed when trying to lose weight and become healthier. Though your weight fluctuates due to many different factors throughout the day, when you measure your weight around the same time every day, you can then track your progress from week-to-week and month-to-month to get an idea of the bigger picture when it comes to your weight loss success. The 310 Body Weight Scale not only shows you your weight along with other vital body statistics on a daily basis, but also stores your data, so you can see how you’re moving towards your goals and where you can improve.
Why is it important to have a scale that also measures BMI, fat, water, bone, etc.?
Just as important as tracking your daily weight, there are other essential factors you need to know, when you’re trying to lose weight, and also to be as healthy as possible. These include BMI, BMR, fat, protein, water, bone, and metabolic age.
Whereas a regular scale will only tell you your weight, that isn’t the entire picture. That measurement may be higher or lower based on water content in your body, and the weight of muscle, bone, and more. It’s important to know what percentage of your overall weight is actually fat, and how much is water, bone, and protein, so you have a much more well-rounded picture. For instance, if you have too much fat in your body and not enough protein, that’s a key indicator that you need to increase your daily protein intake, to help boost metabolism and support fat-burning and weight loss.
Plus, the 310 Body Weight Scale can also help you figure out how many calories you should be eating each day for better weight loss success – also giving you a more accurate picture of how healthy your body is, for complete wellness!
