Strawberries and Cream Oatmeal Shake Recipe

 

Oatmeal; name a better staple breakfast, I dare you! It's not only a quick and easy way to get the day started off on the right foot, but they are also loaded with good carbs and fiber - two amazing items for optimal heath. You may be familiar with popular instant oatmeal flavors such as cinnamon apple, strawberries and cream, or peaches and cream, and might even have them in your pantry right now... am I right?!

The problem is that while regular oats are full of health-supporting nutrients, the added flavors in instant oatmeal packets usually contain a ton of sugar and artificial flavorings that may adversely affect your health and weight loss goals. However, my favorite Strawberries and Cream Oatmeal Protein Shake is a great solution for you if you still want to enjoy your strawberries and cream instant oatmeal without all the unnecessary additives!

Blended with 310 Vanilla, frozen strawberries, rolled oats, unsweetened oat milk, plain yogurt, and ice, this shake recipe is packed with nutritious, whole food ingredients to fuel a healthy life! Plus, although you may think of oatmeal as a typically a breakfast item, you can enjoy this shake anytime of day, nourishing your body with 21g of protein and 6g of healthy fats, while also indulging in a sweet and creamy treat!

  • 1/2 cup frozen strawberries
  • 4 tbsp rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened oat milk
  • 1/4 cup (dairy or non-dairy) plain yogurt 
  • 1/2 cup ice 

Directions:

  1. Combine ingredients in a blender and blend until completely smooth.
  2. Serve and enjoy!
